When girls are supported during adolescence, research shows they can change the world. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia’s SMART Girls program helps girls build self-esteem, positive relationships with others, and skills to live healthy. Growing up isn’t easy. While girls today have incredible opportunities to explore their interests and capabilities, they also face many challenges. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Georgia’s SMART Girls program helps girls as they move from elementary to middle school and from middle school to high school. For many girls, the SMART Girls program is the only resource they have to help understand themselves during a confusing journey that all girls must take.
